The eAxle—jointly developed by BluE Nexus Corporation (BluE), Aisin Corporation (AISIN), and DENSO Corporation (DENSO), and supplied by BluE—has been installed in the updated model of SUBARU’s Solterra. This eAxle achieves a compact package and high-power performance while contributing to improved vehicle energy efficiency.
The newly adopted eAxle features an inverter with a flat-mounted, dual‑sided cooling structure. It incorporates advanced SiC (silicon carbide) power semiconductors and cutting-edge cooling technology, enhancing both output density and efficiency. In addition, transmission efficiency has been improved through higher gear precision and reduced oil agitation resistance, achieved by optimizing the casing design.
These technological advancements enable the eAxle to contribute not only to better environmental performance and everyday usability—such as extended range—but also to excellent driving performance, delivering powerful acceleration the moment the driver presses the accelerator pedal.
